Mrs. Shipe was born on December 31, 1917 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Elmer W. and Alice (Daugherty) Knoll. She married Carl S. Shipe on August 30, 1941, he preceded her in death on November 10, 1994. Clara retired from Moore Business Forms in Angola, Indiana. She is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Donna (Jerry W.) Dickson of Ewing, Kentucky and Carla Shirels of Indianapolis, Indiana. Also surviving are four grandsons. She was preceded in death by a son; Stanley Shipe and a grandson; Kevin Shirels. Graveside services are Saturday March 11, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery with the Rev Steven Brittenham officiating. There is no calling. H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home of 108 S. West Street, Angola, Indiana is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Shipe.
