Ruth A. Leas, 86, passed on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Manor Care Kingston Court. She was the wife of the late Warren H. Leas.
Born in Dover on April 17, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Clair H. and Annie E. (Harlacher) Brenneman.
She was a former member of the Farm Women of Dover.
She is survived by son, Warren H. Leas, II and his wife Dolly of Wrightsville; daughter, Charolette A. Haugh and her husband Terry of Manheim; son, James H. Leas and his wife Pamela of York; daughter, Becky E. Griffith and her husband Tim of York; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Claire Louise Chronister of York. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Runkle.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
