Norman Eugene Leas Jr., 75, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 in Fort Wayne.
Born in Ashley, IN, Norman worked as a truck driver with Weiss Trucking and Central Transport for 38 years, retiring in 1997.
He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, and the Teamster's Union.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Leas of Fort Wayne; brothers, David (Janeanne) Leas of Greensburg, IN; and Mark (Treva) Leas of Dothan, AL; sisters, Carol (Harold) Wilhelm of Waterloo, IN; Linda (Phil) Snider of Hicksville, OH; Sandra Shuman of Ashley, IN; and Kathy Leas of Anderson, IN.
Norman was preceded in death by his daughter Lana Leas; and his parents Norman Gene and Thelma Leas.
Service is 10:30 am, Monday, September 22, 2014 at Covenant United Methodist Church, 10001 Coldwater Road with calling 1hr prior.
Calling also at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Rd on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
