Obituary: JESSIE LEAS

JEWETT \endash Jessie Roy Leas, 88, of Green Township, RD 1, Jewett, died at 9:30 a.m. today in his home. He had been in failing health the past year and a half.

He was a life member of the Bethel Methodist Church.

He leaves a son, John Leas, at home and a foster daughter, Mrs. Helen Miller Stumps of Santa Cruez, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Etta Belle Miller, in 1950. Mr.

Leas was born March 26, 1873, in Harrison County, Ohio, a son of the late John and Rebecca Ramsey Leas.

The body has been removed to the Blackburn Funeral Home in Hopedale. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Jessie Leas \endash 2 p.m. Monday, Bethel Methodist Church, RD 1, Jewett.

The Rev. Mr. Allen Rose will officiate. Burial in Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence at RD 1, Jewett.
