PALO CEDRO - Services for Agnes Josephine Leas, 84, of Redding will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 30 at Cow Creek Community Church.

The Reverend James Dahl, and the Reverend Barry McGee, both of the church, will officiate.

Burial will be at the Atwater/Winton Cemetery in Atwater.

Mrs. Leas died Wednesday, June 12, 1996, at the Shasta Convalescent Hospital in Redding.

Born December 18, 1911, in Butterfield, Minnesota, she moved to Shasta County in 1948 from Atwater.

She was a registered nurse, homemaker and a member of the Cow Creek Community Church.

Survivors include husband Charles; son Joseph of Camas, Washington; daughter Crystal Leas of Valley Stream, N.Y.; sisters Emaline Ratzlaff of Winton, and Theresa Koehn of Sunol; and five grandchildren.


Agnes married Charles E. Leas, son of Samuel Lee Leas and Mollie (Mary Ann) Thorne. (Charles E. Leas was born on 3 Jun 1919 in Shasta County, California 2 and died on 28 Jun 2009 in Shasta County, California 3.)
