21 Nov 2006: Mary Elizabeth Leas, 85, St. Anne's Retirement Community Columbia, formerly of Wrightsville, died Sunday evening, November 19, 2006 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Edward Wilson Leas who preceded her in death in 1966. Born in Wrightsville, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Amanda Wallick Arnold. A retired licensed practical nurse, she had worked in the former Columbia Hospital, St. Anne's Home and Whitehall Nursing Home. For many years she was under the spiritual care of Columbia United Methodist Church. Mary is survived by her son John D., husband of Karen Sue (Holder) Leas of Columbia; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three great-greatgrandchildren. Funeral at the Chapel of St. Anne's Retirement Community, Columbia, Friday, Rev. Jeffrey A. Snyder officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Wrightsville. [York Daily Record]
