Granddaughter of Stephen Long and Susanna Leas, his wife. Gr.-granddaughter of James Long and Elizabeth Douglass, his wife. James Long, (1758-1841), served as corporal in Capt. Persifor Frazer's company, Col. Anthony Wayne's regiment, 1776-7. He was born in Lancaster county, Pa., and died in Warren county, Ohio.
