Skelly Arcille, 74, died today at her rural Ashley home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cedar Lake Church of Christ of Waterloo. She was born January 7, 1916 in Kendallville to Claude and Nellie (Waldron) Smith. She married Earl Skelly on February 2, 1935 in Garrett. Surviving are her husband; 4 sons, Eldon of Buffalo, N.Y., John and Larry of Fort Wayne, and Donald of Quincy, Mich.; 3 daughters, Mrs. Everett (Carolyn) Reinoehl and Mrs. Steve (Ellen) Wilson of Waterloo, and Mrs. Steve (Dianne) Owen of Milroy, Ind.; 6 brothers, Lauren of Wolcottville, Charles "Bud", Robert and Harold of Kendallville, James of Fort Wayne, and William of Columbia City; one sister, Katherine Hasselman of Kendallville; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren and one great-grandchild preceded her in death. Services Thursday in Cedar Lake Church of Christ. Burial, Fairfield Cemetery, rural Corunna. + 2-5-1990

Arcille married Earl Skelly, son of Ray George Skelly and Reba May. Reed, on 2 Feb 1935 in Springfield Township, Allen County, Indiana, USA. (Earl Skelly was born about 1914 in Indiana, USA.)
