Christina Mae Leas, 42, of De Soto died Feb. 5, 2020, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Ms. Leas enjoyed music, crafting and spending time with family and friends. Born Jan. 30, 1978, in Festus, she was the daughter of Connie (Courtaway) Leas of De Soto and the late Davie E. Leas.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son: Christopher W. Deck of De Soto; a daughter: Isabella T. Deck of De Soto; a brother: David J. (Lisa) Leas of De Soto; a nephew: Andrew Leas of De Soto; an uncle and aunt: David and Carol Jo Shelley of Pevely; her maternal grandparents: Joe and Nedra Courtaway of De Soto; and numerous family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Earl and Fannie Mae Leas.
Ms. Leas chose to give the gift of life by being an organ, eye and tissue donor. A memorial gathering is scheduled for 2 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Pastor Bob Thebeau. Memorials may be made to Mid-America Transplant Foundation, 1110 Highlands Plaza Drive East, Suite 100, St. Louis, 63110. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
