General Notes:
Brumfield Boone was the son of Thomas Boone and Susannah Brumfield. He enlisted in the Ohio Militia on Feb 21, 1814 and was discharged on Aug 20 of the same year. He married a few years later on Feb 27, 1817 in Holland, Butler County, Ohio to Maria Wood. They were married by the Rev. Joshua Holland. They had at least two daughters, Sarah in 1819 and Charity in 1824.
The family moved together to Decatur County, Indiana several years later.
Brumfield married Maria Wood. (Maria Wood was born in 1791, died on 6 Dec 1881 and was buried in South Park Cemetery, Greensburg, Decatur County, Indiana.)
