Here rest the remains of John George Kistler and his wife Anna Dorothea, who were born in the Palatinate Germany. Came in the ship Townsend from Amsterdam to Philadelphia 5 Oct 1737. Lived for ten years at Falkner Swamp or Goshenhoppen, Montgomery County. Received a warrant for land in Albany Township whither they moved in 1747. John George Kistler died in 1767, his wife Anna Dorothea died about 1779. They left six sons and 3 daughters from whom descended the large Kistler relationship in America.
