Mary Ann J. Hafer, 68, retired school teacher from Apple Valley, passed away from cancer on June 28, 2001, in Apple Valley. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Hafer; son Allen Hafer and grandchildren Brittney, Nicholas and Nicole. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary Chapel, 14801 Beach Blvd. in Westminster, with burial to follow at the same location. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions in Mary Ann's name may be made to the American Cancer Society Breast Research Foundation.
