Sandra Lee Wieringa, age 72, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2019. Sandra was born May 24, 1947 in Wyoming, the daughter of Charles and Eloise (Reed) Brown. Sandra was a loving, caring, and helpful person who always put her family first. Sandra and Tom resided on their farm in Middleville, where they raised their family for many years before moving to Custer, MI in 2007. Sandra was an active parishioner at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Custer. She enjoyed square dancing and clogging, and was part of the Thunderfloor Cloggers in Lake Odessa. Sandra loved animals, dancing, and was involved with the Barry County Fair. Most important to Sandra was her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandson. Sandra is survived by her loving husband: Thomas Wieringa, daughters: Kelly (Scott) Thomas and Lori (Dennis) Myers; grandchildren: Mitchell (Alex) Myers, Megan Thomas, Samantha Myers, Nathan Thomas, Jessica Myers, and Benjamin Myers; great grandson: Thomas Ryan Myers; brother: Todd Brown; sisters: Gail (John) Moore and Char VanEss; and several nieces and nephews: Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and son: Bradley Wieringa. Sandra's family will receive friends on Wednesday, August, 7, 2019, 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Beeler-Gores Funeral Home. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, August, 9, 2019, 11:00 AM at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 159 131st Avenue, Wayland, MI 49348, where the Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM. Sandra's burial will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date.
