Rev. Mr. Milton Webster Folds, Jr., age 84, of Churubusco, IN passed away at 4:26 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2010 at his residence. Born on February 6, 1926 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Milton Webster Sr. and Jessie (Deacon) Folds.

He lived in Columbia City from 1982-1998 then from 1998-2009 he resided in Churubusco and Phoenix, AZ returning to Churubusco in 2009. He graduated from South Shore High School, Chicago, IL with the Class of 1944 and received his Masters of Theology Degree from Notre Dame in 1975. On August 15, 1950, he married Beverly J. East in St. John, IN. He served in the United States Army as a medical corpsman and also a drummer in the post marching band and dance orchestra. He worked at New York Life Insurance Co., Fort Wayne, from 1965-1975 and then in 1975 he started his own insurance agency, Milt Folds and Assoc. Insurance, Columbia City, retiring in 1993. He was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Churubusco; an ordained Deacon in the Roman Catholic Church; a founder the Columbia City Curtain Company Players; founder of the Right Side Foundation now known as Faith Christian Academy; a member of the Board of Directors of the Fort Wayne Civic Theater and a 9 time Anthony Award Winner.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly J. Folds of Churubusco, IN; 7 children, Milton W. (Cathy) Folds, III of Winona Lake, IN; Joseph P. (Antonia) Folds of Churubusco, IN; Mary (Arnold) Reyling of Decatur, IN; Blaise (Kevin) Moore of Fort Wayne, IN; Mercy (Phillip) Weigmann of Fort Wayne, IN; Michael I. (Kimberly) Folds of Southern Shores, NC; and Dorothy (Joseph, Sr.) Cochran of Columbia City; 27 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dorothy E. Harn and Jessie Mary Mangrum, and a grandson, Jack Wedler.

Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, IN with a prayer vigil at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 with one hour of visitation prior to the service at St. John Bosco, 216 N. Main Street, Churubusco, IN with Father Danney Pinto as celebrant. Burial will follow at a later date.
