Isabel was the daughter of Walter Grauntm of Snitterfield. She was born before 1491 and married Sir John Spencer before 1506. To this union five children were born; Sir William Spencer, Kt, of Wormleighton & Althorp, Northants, Jane, Anthony, Isabel, and Dorothy.

Isabel married Sir John Spencer Knight, son of William Redbone Spencer and Elizabeth Empson. (Sir John Spencer Knight was born in 1460 in Wormleighton, Stratford-on-Avon District, Warwickshire, England, died on 14 Apr 1522 in Althorp, Daventry District, Northamptonshire, England and was buried in St Mary the Virgin with St John Churchyard, Great Brington, Daventry District, Northamptonshire, England.)
