Melvin KAGAN, a Holocaust survivor, of Winthrop, on August 19th. Beloved husband of the late Mae (Feinstein). Devoted father of Jeffrey KAGAN of California and Laurie MEDREK and her husband Ted of Londonderry, New Hampshire. Dear brother of Ann KORNHAUSER of Peabody and formerly of Everett and Claire ERDMAN of Israel and the late Lazer KAGAN. Loving grandfather of Michelle, Michael, and Brian. Loving great-grandfather of Evan.
Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Avenue, Cary Square, Chelsea, on Tuesday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Sharon. Memorial Observance at his late residence following the Interment till 8:00 p.m. and then on Wednesday at the home of Laurie and Ted MEDREK, Londonderry, New Hampshire, 5:00-8:00 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Holocaust Center of The North Shore, 76 Lake Street, Peabody, MA 01960.
