He married (1) Emily Jones, daughter of Paul and Tacy, Emily thus being
his first cousin, once removed. Wm. Warner Roberts and Emily had a dau.
Sallie who died young, and a son John, still living (1909).
Late in life William Warner Roberts married a young woman, Caroline
Schlater, daughter of Jesse Schlater of Lower Merion. William Warner
Roberts and Caroline Schater were married Oct. 29, 1867. 1
