General Notes:
# Note:
Merle Rummel writes: "They were at Obannon as first minister - we assume that meant he was there in 1795 or very soon after (Clermont Co OH). Since that was part of the Virginia Bounty Lands, all those first settlers had to leave - and he went as Elder to Donnels Creek (1805) -but their records say he did not actually move there till just a year or so before his death (c1814). This information included that he was over in Hamilton County (possibly with the others near Sharonville - but that is a long way to ride a horse up to Donnels Creek). Since most of these earliest Brethren at Obannon had first lived in Kentucky, I would assume John Garber did also."
# Religion: the founding Elder 1805 Donnels Creek Church of the Brethren, Champagne Co, Ohio
Johannes married Barbara Zook. (Barbara Zook died in 1808 in Clermont County, Ohio, USA.)
