Hazel Lockhart, 84, Route 2, Waterloo, died at 4 pm, Saturday in DeKalb Memorial Hospital. Born in DeKalb County on Sept 29, 1897, she was the daughter of the late Brown and Sarah Sadonia (Lint) Albright. Mrs. Lockhart was a homemake and member of the Cedar Lake Church of Christ.

She was married in 1917 to Ralph Lockhart, who preceded her in death Aug 20, 1962. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, a grandchild, and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Marjorie) Forrest and Mrs. Max (Barbara) Peters, both of Waterloo; a son, Richard, of Ashley, three sisters, Irene Forrest of Fort Wayne, Goldie Friend of Auburn, and Mayme Myers of Coldwater, Michigan; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday in the Cedar Lake Church of Christ. The Rev Al Holzbauer of Croton, Ohio, will officiate. Burial will be in the Fairfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the Feller Funeral Home from 2-5 and 7-9 pm today, and at the church after noon on Tuesday. ⁴

Hazel married Ralph Russell Lockhart, son of Robert Wiliam Lockhart and Mary Catherine "Mamie" Hartman, on 14 Jul 1917.¹ (Ralph Russell Lockhart was born on 14 Jul 1896 in Helmer, Steuben County, Indiana, USA,³ died on 20 Aug 1962 in Dekalb County, Indiana, USA ⁷ and was buried in Fairfield Cemetery, Fairfield Center, Dekalb County, Indiana, USA.)
