James Boone
(1743-1785) |
James Boone 1
General Notes: Clarence Roberts: James was "a distinguished mathematician." He was also a tanner in Berks County. It is suspected that this is the James Boone who took the oath of allegience to the American side in the Revolution, refused to condemn his actions and was disowned by Exeter MM. He later joined the "Free Quakers", whose Meeting House stands near the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. 1 |
