Solomon Leas is buried in the Alsace Lutheran Cemetery (Muhleberg, Berks Co., PA). On his tombstone his birthdate was Oct. 29, 1824 and his death Feb. 27, 1900. His wife was Catherine HARBOLD. She is along side of him in Alsace Lutheran Cemetery.

Solomon Leas died of at his residence, 941 Hampden street, aged 75 years, 4 months and 27 days. He was ill for some time. Besides his widow, Catherine, deceased was survived by four sons, Adam, Henry H., Frederick J., and Paul W.; two daughters, Emma E. and Mary Ellen; three sisters, Mrs. Louisa Madeira, BARBARA GRAUL and SUSAN HOMAN, all of Reading, and a brother DANIEL, of Iowa. He was a member of Hampden Fire Company and also Alsace Lutheran Church.

Solomon married Catherine Harbold, daughter of Unknown and Unknown. (Catherine Harbold was born on 10 Aug 1827 in Pennsylvania, USA,³ died on 26 Jan 1902 in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania, USA and was buried in Alsace Lutheran Church Cemetery, Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania, USA.)
