Emmitt Roy, 69, Luck, Wis., died Sunday in Wisconsin Hospital, Luck. He was born June 19, 1903 in Noble County to Charles and Viola (Prough) Emmitt. He married Ruby Leas. He moved to Wisconsin four years ago from Goshen. He retired four years ago from NYC Railroad. Surviving are the wife; three daughters, Mrs. Carlyle Wise, Battle Creek, Mich., Mrs. Harold Anderson, Kendallville, and Mrs. Clyde Kulp, Bristol; two sons, Charles, Birmingham, Mich., and Tim, Hazel Crest, Ill.; five sisters, Mrs. Dean Bobeck, Ligonier, Mrs. Melvin Faust, Fort Wayne, Mrs. Charles Moser, Dallas Lake, Mrs. Fritz Waters, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Ray Bowman, Port Ritchie, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral Wednesday at Ulrey Funeral Home, Ligonier. Burial, Oak Park Cemetery. + 8-?-1972 ²

Roy married Ruby Minetta Leas, daughter of Franklin Obediah "Frank" Leas and Clara Anna Stomm, on 10 Jan 1951. (Ruby Minetta Leas was born on 27 Oct 1908 in Ashley, Dekalb County, Indiana, USA.)
