DOTTIE FITCH, 88, died at 8:47 am Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Home in Avilla. Mrs Fitch a retired Schaabs Department Store employee and housewife had previously resided on N Main Street Auburn.

Born Sept 30, 1887 in Cedar Chapel DeKalb County to William and Eliza Whetzel Feagler, she was the widow of Clyde P Fitch whom she married Aug 3, 1947. He died in 1959.

Mrs Fitch was a member of Auburn First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son Clair W Timberlin of N Van Buren Auburn; a daughter Mrs Dick (Mary) Brown of N Main St Auburn; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Four brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Services will be at the Dilgard and Cline Funeral Home Auburn at 10 am Friday. Rev Carl Wirey will officiate. Calling will be after 2 pm Thursday. Burial will be in Cedar Chapel Cemetery.
