Anna McVay McGrew was born in PA, the daughter of Isaac & Mary Rude McVay. Her family moved from Washington Co. PA to Highland Co. OH where she married William McGrew in 1831. The family moved to Hermon IL c. 1851. William McGrew's name is on a gravestone in this cemetery however, he is believed to have died and is buried in Nebraska.
