Married Catherine Parkinson July 13, 1768 in Carlisle, PA. Second wife was Mary. He is buried on the family farm in East Palestine, Ohio but a marker was erected for him at Boatman Cemetery. The marker was erected by Margaret Travis. Catherine Parkinson is the sister of the Parkinson of the Whiskey Rebellion.
