Kenneth R. Boyce Sr 57. husband of Mrs. Blanche Lease Boyce. 47 Columbia Ave . died Tuesday at 1 40 p m. at York Hospital, after a three-year illness. Born at Esty. Va. he was a son of Mrs. Mary Coff Boyce Kincaid, Renicke. W Va and The late Wertie Boyce. Prior to his illness.
Mr. Boyce was a driver for Graybills Inc. He was a member of York Citadel of the Salvation Army and of Kreutz Creek Valley Post 7045. Veterans of Foreigh Wars. He was a veteran of World War II.
He is also survived by two daughters. Mrs. Clyde Waltemyer, Virginia Beach. Va ; Mrs. Richard Brought, 430 W. Philadelphia St ; two sons. Kenneth Boyce Jr.. 33 Columbia Ave ; Ronald Boyce. 341 E. Philadelphia St.; 10 grandchildren; three sisters. Mrs. Doil Simpson. Keyser, W. Va.; Mrs. Arizona Hilker, Los Angeles. Calif.; and Mrs. Gilbert Bare, Remch. W. Va.
Captain Peter H. Stritzinger. of Salvation Army, will officiate at the funeral on Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Dodson Funeral Home, 517 N, George St. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Family suggested, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
