Leas (Lees), John B., Cpl Co B; mustered Oct 30, 1861; discharged Jan 3, 1865; born Sep 9, 1823; died Nov 29, 1914; served in the color guard from March 1864; captured at the battle of Monocacy [C.S.R. also says Weldon Railroad] and sent to Danville Prison, paroled at Aikens Landing January 21, 1865; may be buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania
