James Claude Murray, 151 1/2 Race St. Clearfield died last evening at the Clearfield Hospital. He was 48.
Born in Clearfield May 13, 1921, he was a son of Jame Irving Murray and the late Delores (Leas) Murray.
Mr. Murray was employed by the N. Hamilton Contracting Company. He was a veteran of WW II and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, the Masonic Order 314, the Couder-port Consistory, the BPOE, and the Frenchville VFW.
Surviving are his wife Mrs. Mary (Dinsmore) Murray Clearfield; his father James Murray, Clearfield and one brother Kenneth also of Clearfield.
Mr. Murray was preceded in death by his mother and one sister Vivian.
Funeral services will be held from the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Carl Hill officiating. Interment will be made at the Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today, Sunday afternoon and evening and until the hour of services Monday."
