Estate (1867): "At an Orphan's Court held at Gettysburg in and for the County of
Adams on the 19th day of August AD 1867. Before the Honorabler Robert Fisher,
President, and Isaac E. Wierman and Isaac Robison, Esquires, associate judges
duly assigned.
The following proceedings were had to wit -
The petition of Samuel Sadler of Heidlersburg in said County was presented and
read to the Court as follows: That he is one of the heirs of the Estate of
hismother Lydia Sadler, late of Tyrone Township, in said County, deceased. That
Letters of Administration of the said Lydia Sadler were granted to William
Sadler by the Register of said County, on or about the fifteenth day of AugustAD
1866, and that more than one year has elapsed since said letters were granted.
That the said Administrator has neglected to Exhibit and file a just account,
and settlement of said Estate, in the office of the REgister of said County,
your Petitioner therefore prays that the court will award a citation, directed
to the said William Sadler, commanding him to exhibit, and file a justaccount
and make a true settlement thereof, in the office of the Register of Said
County,

The Court granted that petition and gave William Sadler until the next Orphan's
Court, September 30, 1867 to comply.

"The Account of William Sadler, Adm of the Estate of Lydia Sadler, dec'd. Filed
Nov. 4, 1867; Account filed December 9, 1867.


Burial: Her tombstone has her age at death as 79 years, 10 months and 19 days.


Lydia married William Sadler. (William Sadler was born on 1 Oct 1771, died on 8 Jul 1848 and was buried in Rock Chapel Cemetery, Adams County, Pennsylvania, USA.)
