WEST LAFAYETTE HOME
Carl L. [F.] Meitzler, 78, died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday at his residence on Russell av., West Lafayette, following an illness of one year.
He was born Dec. 17, 1871 near Baltic, a son of Lewis and Mary Meitzler. On May 27, 1903, he was married to Myrta Leas, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Albert Bryan of Findlay, O.; a granddaughter, four sisters, Mrs. Rosa Schumaker of Coshocton, Mrs. Elizabeth McQueen of Baltic, Mrs. Luther Doak of Fresno and Mrs. Harry Deges of Sugarcreek; two brothers, Otto and Victor Meitzler, both of Baltic.
Mr. Meitzler was a member of the West Lafayette Trinity Methodist church, the Men's Bible class, Lodge 602, F. and A.M. and Lodge 342, O.E.S., West Lafayette.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bonnell funeral home in West Lafayette. Rev. R. A. Hall of Trinity Methodist church will officiate, and burial will be in Fairfield cemetery, West Lafayette.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
