The following obituary was found on Find-A-Grave:

Mrs. Artie A. Wood, 96, former Westfield resident died Saturday, Oct. 28, 1978, in the Higgins Health Facility in Tipton.
Mrs. Wood had been a resident of the facility for the past two years. She had worked as a practical nurse and many years ago was housemother at the Indiana University Medical Center senior girls' dormitory.
Mrs. Wood was born Aug. 16, 1882, in Washington County to George and Penelope (Garriott) McKnight. She was the widow of James W. Wood, who died in 1926.
She is survived by a son, James W. of Westfield; and five daughters, Mrs. Winfreda Hillard and Mrs. Marjorie Twilling, both of Tipton; Mrs. Charlotte Stuart of Sheridan; Mrs. Sarah Jones of Elwood and Mrs. Sue Jessup of Mooresville.
Mrs. Wood also is survived by 31 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

(Winfred Lewis was born on 17 Mar 1877 in Jennings County, Indiana, USA, died on 8 Jan 1910 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, USA and was buried in Crothersville Cemetery, Crothersville, Jackson County, Indiana, USA ².)

Artilissa next married James William Wood, son of Charles Wood and Mary Charlotte Padgett, on 1 Jun 1916 in Loogoote, Martin County, Indiana, USA. (James William Wood was born in 1867 in Loogoote, Martin County, Indiana, USA, died on 19 Oct 1926 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, USA and was buried in Memorial Park, Indianapolis, IN.)
