Martha Owsley Williams was the daughter of Thomas Owsley IV and his wife, Dinah. Her marriage bond to Ralph Williams was dated August 10, 1798 in Lincoln County, Kentucky. Martha and Ralph were living in Pulaski County, Kentucky in 1800 and Franklin County, Indiana in 1810. Ralph was affiliated with the Ebenezer Methodist Episcopal Church in Franklin County. They migrated to Madison County, Indiana around 1835.
Ralph Tombstone Inscription: Behold ye strangers passing by as you are now, so once was I. As I am now, so shall ye be, Prepare to die and follow me.

BIRTH-DEATH-SPOUSE-MARRIAGE: Information extracted from the work: "A Genealogical History of the Owsley Family Part 3 - Being a Preliminary Account of the Descendants of Thomas OWsley (1752-1825), of Rockcastle County, Kentucky" by Ronny O. Bodine. See page 3. Notes for Martha Owsley: Martha (Owsley) Williams was buried in Metamora Cemetery, Madison County. Rev. Ralph Williams was buried in Menden Cemetery, Madison County. By 1800, the Williams family was residing in Pulaski County, Kentucky and remained there through at least 1820. By 1830 they had moved to Franklin County, Indiana where Rev. Williams was affiliated with the Ebenezer Methodist Episcopal Church as minister. About 1833 they relocated to Madison County, Indiana.
