General Notes: Dorothy Louise Frick, 80, of Mongo died at 3:50 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, in Parkview LaGrange Hospital, LaGrange. She moved to Mongo in 1955 and was a lifetime resident of LaGrange County. She formerly worked as a waitress at the Glass House Restaurant in Howe. She enjoyed reading, embroidering and spending time with her grandchildren. On Oct. 1, 1927, she was born in Stroh to Clifton and Sarah (Wilson) Leas. She married Leonard E. Frick on Sept. 29, 1946, in Salem Center. He preceded her in death on June 17, 2000. Surviving are a son, Larry Frick of Angola; four daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jane and Don Musser of Waterloo, Gerri and Jim Idalaski of LaGrange, Sherry and Earl DePew of Mongo, and Terri and Max Clipfell of Syracuse; a sister, Esther Pairan of Orland; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, preceding her in death were a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Frick in 1972, a sister, Hilda Watts, and a brother, Duwayne Leas. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, with Pastor Ron Hyre of Messiah Fellowship in Brighton officiating. Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery, Woodruff.
