Gerald (Jerry) Wenman, 38, passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2019. Jerry was born to Zelma Gay Haywood David) and Leonard F Wenman Sr on March 16, 1981. Jerry was preceded in death by his grandfather Jack Wenman (Bertha/Martha) and his grandmother Rhoda Magrum (Earl). Jerry is survived by his parents, as well as 6 siblings, Crystal Wenman (Jason), Michelle Wenman (Wayne), Laura Anthony (Daryl), Sandy Gibbs (Randy), and Leonard (Lenny) Wenman Jr., Kalanna Olney (Jared), as well as his Grandma Sue Haywood (Arvil). He also has many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jerry was engaged to Tiffany Jones. He was the father of 3 boys, Michael Heckaman, Aiden and Jack Wenman. He was a soon to be step father to Alia and Alaynna Jones. Jerry was a loving, genuine friend. Jerry was known as "fat man" by his Grandpa Jack, who also used to tell him that he was born in a cabbage patch, and when donuts came into the house, Jerry always had to have the first one.
Jerry loved fishing, golfing, scrapping, watching zombie shows, and most importantly, his family. He also enjoyed competing with his cousin Dennis to see who could do the best Donald Duck voice. Jerry always won. He had a sense of humor that would lighten up even the darkest room. Jerry was a man that proved chivalry was still alive. He would open doors, pull out chairs, and do anything to protect his family. Jerry will always remain in our hearts and will forever be missed.
