Esther L. Mann, 80, died Sunday morning, Feb. 17, at her home at 1024 South Jersey St.
Mrs. Mann retired after 20 years in 1987 from Magnavox Corp.
She was born in Jackson Township, Wells County, Sept. 24, 1921 to Frank and Dora Riggs Stinson. Her marriage at Bluffton on Nov. 9, 1941 was to James E. Mann, who died Oct. 29, 1968.
She was a 1939 graduate of Jackson Township High School.
Surviving are two sons, Galen of Markle and Michael of Bluffton; two daughters, Karen Freeman of Fort Wayne and Monnah Mann of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Harrold Stinson of Summerfield, Fla.; three sisters, Hildred Foust and Doris Cline, both of Montpelier, and Mrs. Don (Virginia) Leas of Hartford City; two step-sisters, Mrs. William (Bonnie) Avery of Hastings, Mich., and Mrs. Delmar (LaVonne) Brown of Montpelier; a stepbrother, Dwight Booher of Montpelier; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Roger and Forrest, are deceased.
Services at 2 p.m. Wednesday will be at Goodwin Memorial Chape. with Rev. Tom Bradley officiating. Burial will be at Six Mile Cemetery.
Visitation hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 12 noon to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time for services.
