Children: 1. LEAH BROUWER, was b. 14 July 1744 and bap. 15 July 1744 at the
Reformed Dutch Church of Schraalenburgh. Wit.: Hendrik Banta and Rachel, wife. With banns published 13 Oct. 1765 at the Reformed Dutch Church of Schraalenburgh she mar. JAMES (SJEEMS) STAGG, who was b. 18 Sept. 1738 and bap. 8 Oct. 1738 at the Reformed Dutch Church of Hackensack (wit.: Sjeems Christie and wife), a son of Cornelius Staag and Annetie Christie. Captain James Stagg served in the Revolutionary War under Colonel Tevis Dye. Leah died 27 Sept. 1810. James died 3 May 1826 in Harrodsburg, Mercer Co., KY.

2. ABRAHAM BROUWER, was bap. 19 Mar. 1745/46 at the Reformed Dutch Church of Hackensack. Abt. 1769 he mar. SARAH VAN ORDEN. Abraham died July 1828 in Harrodsburgh, KY.

3. SUSANNA BROUWER, was bap. 22 Mar. 1747 at the Reformed Dutch Church of Schraalenburgh. Wit.: Joris Reyersen and Susanna, wife. With banns published 1 Dec. 1768 at the Reformed Dutch Church of Schraalenburgh she mar. SAMUEL DEMAREE, who was b. 4 Oct. 1746 and bap. 12 Oct. 1746 at the Reformed Dutch Church of Schraalenburgh (wit.: Hillebrant Lizier and wife), a son of David Demarest and Catherine Van Houten. Samuel moved to Conewago, York Co, PA, in 1775. In 1783 he moved to Kentucky along with the Dutch migration, where he settled in Pleasureville, KY. He died 20 Dec. 1810 and buried in Pleasureville, KY. His will, dated 20 Dec. 1810, was probated in Mar. 1811.

4. DANIEL BROUWER, was b. 12 Aug. 1751 and bap. 22 Aug. 1751 at the
Reformed Dutch Church of Schraalenburgh. Wit.: David Cristy
and Wyburg Van Orde. He died young.

5. RACHEL BROUWER, was b. 21 Aug. 1752 and bap. 30 Aug. 1752 at the
Reformed Dutch Church of Schraalenburg. Wit.: David Edward and
Rachel, wife. Prior to 14 Apr. 1773 she mar. HENDRICK CAMEGA
(COMMINGORE). She died in KY.

6. JOHANNES BROUWER, was bap. 30 Apr. 1761 at the Reformed Dutch
Church of Schraalenburg. Wit.: None. On 3 Apr. 1782 he mar.

7. SARA BROUWER, was bap. 23 Oct. 1763 at the Reformed Dutch Church
of Schraalenburg. Wit.: None.

8. DANIEL BROUWER, was bap. 28 Feb. 1768 at the Reformed Dutch
Church of Schraalenburg. Wit.: None.

9. PHEBE BROUWER, was bap. 23 Oct. 1763. She mar. as her first
husband DAVID BANTA. He was killed by Indians. She mar. as her
second husband and as his first wife CORNELIUS DEMAREE, who was
b. and bap. 6 Sept. 1761 at the Reformed Dutch Church of
Schraalenburgh (wit.: Jan Zabriske and Anaatje, wife), a son of
David Demaree and Helena Van Voorhees. Cornelius was a member
of the Old Cane Meeting where he was a ruling elder in 1801.
Phebe died in 1810. Cornelius mar. as his second wife Polly
Waddle; and as his third wife Sally Sadler. He died in 1847 in
Mercer Co., KY. His will, dated 14 May 1838, was probated in
1847 in Mercer Co., KY.

10. MARY BROUWER, was bap. 4 July 1764. She mar. as her first
husband the Rev. CORNELIUS COZINE, preacher of the Dutch
Congregation of Conewago. On 15 Jan. 1788 in Mercer Co., KY,
she mar. as her second husband SAMUEL DEMAREE, JR., who was b.
abt. 1754, a son of Samuel Demarest and Leah Demarest. Samuel
purchased property on Azariah's Run, Mercer Co., KY. He later
moved to Indiana. He settled on Indian Kentuck Creek, purchased
a large acreage, and built saw, grist, and paper mills. Samuel
died in 1826 in Madison, IN. His will, dated 21 June 1826, was
probated 6 Sept. 1826 in Jefferson Co., IN.


Daniel married Maria Konig on 10 Oct 1743 in Reformed Dutch Church Of Hackensack.
