CENTERBURG - Trent Boudinot, 42, of Centerburg passed away Friday, March 9, 2007. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 14, at 10 a.m. in the 4-H Center at the Hartford Fairgrounds, 14028 Fairgrounds Road, Croton, OH 43013, with the Rev. Michael Rector officiating. Burial will be in Lock Cemetery, Centerburg.

Trent was born Jan. 10, 1965, in Columbus. He graduated from Northridge High School in the class of 1984, where he received football special awards: Johnstown Independent Best Offense, Jim Ashbrook Memorial Trophy, Viking Award, 1st Team LCL Linebacker, 2nd Team State Linebacker, 1st Team All Division Defense and Best Offensive Player. He managed his own farm along with Heimerl Farms, Johnstown. He was member of the Hartford Fairground Board, which he started serving in 2002 up to present. He was very active along with his wife in many 4-H clubs with all area youth groups and also as an advisor. He also coached baseball in the Homer Youth Baseball League.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Tonia Boudinot of Centerburg; son, Mathew Trent, and daughter, Adrian Marie, both of Centerburg; parents, Fred and Bev Boudinot of Johnstown; two sisters and two brothers, Evelyn Huff of Anchorage, Alaska, Jeff (Shirley) Boudinot of Croton, Freda (Jerry) Smith of Marengo and Andy Boudinot of Johnstown; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Lois Leas of Mount Vernon; two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Todd (Beverly) Leas of Newark and Tiffany (Greg) Korns of Newark; closest nephew, Jeffrey Boudinot of Mount Vernon; and many other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a nephew, Chad Boudinot.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 13, from 5 to 9 p.m. in the 4-H Center at the Hartford Fairgrounds.

Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Trent to his children's scholarship fund at the Heartland Bank, Centerburg. Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, is serving the family locally.
