Beatrice married James Douglas 7th Earl of Douglas and 1st Earl of Avondale, son of "The Black" Sir Archibald Douglas "The Grim", 3rd Earl of Douglas, Earl of Wigtown, Lord of Galloway, Lord Warden of the Marches and Lady Johanna Moravia of Bothwell.
