Veit Phillip Ellsworth, 52, 315 Main St., Albion, was found dead in bed Wednesday. Death was caused by a heart attack. Born in Monroeville April 20, 1918, he was the son of Nelson and Emma O'Bryant Veit, who reside at 313 S. Oak St., Kendallville. Prior to moving to Kendallville he had resided in Rochester where he operated at Culligan Co. for 9 years. He had lived in Albion for the past year where he was on the Board of Directors of the Noble County Credit Union and president of Teeters & Veit Corp., owners of Vee Tee Twist at Howe. He was married Aug. 1, 1959 in Fort Wayne to Lucille Rickner. He was a member of the Mitchell St. United Methodist Church, Kendallville, and Elks and Moose Lodge at Rochester. Survivors include the wife; his parents; 2 stepdaughters, Mrs. Barbara Davis, Albion, and Mrs. Shirley Runkle, Toledo, Ohio; one brother, James, Ind. 3 North; 3 sisters, Mrs. Mabel Carunchia, Mrs. William Sobieski, and Mrs. Helen Haynes, all Kendallville. Funeral Saturday in Berhalter-Hutchins Funeral Home. Burial, Lake View Cemetery. + 10-?-1970
