Mayme H. Beverlin ¹

Mayme was graduated from the Urbana High School in 1911, and then entered upon a course of instruction in the University of Illinois, but was prevented from finishing it by the sudden death of her mother on January 24, 1912. W. N. Beverlin, her father, was born near St. Joseph, Illinois, and finished his education in Earlham College in Indiana. He was a son of T. J. and Elizabeth (Stevenson) Beverlin. T. J. Beverlin was born near Centerville, Indiana, and was a soldier in the Union army during the Civil War. His wife was born near Ridge Farm, Illinois.

Mayme married Paul W. Stephens. (Paul W. Stephens was born on 16 Feb 1892, died on 2 Jun 1971 in Sarasota, Sarasota, Florida and was buried in Urbana, Champaign County, Illinois, USA.)
