Parr George, 76, of Kendallville, died at his home Sunday night after an illness of one year. He was born in Steuben County and was united in marriage to Catherine Shimpff of near Ashley. Surviving are the widow, 5 sons and 2 daughters, Arthur and Augustus of Stroh, Mrs. Pearl Miller of Kendallville, Earl of Avilla, George Jr. of Fort Wayne, Carl of Gary and Mrs. Bessie Gramling of Ashley. Funeral was Wednesday afternoon from the County Line Church near Ashley. Burial, Circle Cemetery. Noble Co Democrat 8-5-1926
