William Albert Gramling 1
General Notes: The story on William would suggest that he was a drunkard. He was found on a country lane, propped up against a tree, bottle of whiskey in hand and dead. He was 40 years old when he died. He was into the brick-making business in the town of Summit: a town that was located just south and east of Ashley but no longer exists. The brick-making business floundered after his death. He was the original owner of the log home near the town of Summit. William married Odessie. (Odessie died in 1910.) William next married Mary May Chapman. (Mary May Chapman was born on 10 Oct 1862 in USA,2 died on 8 Aug 1925 in Dekalb County, Indiana, USA 2 and was buried in Circle Cemetery, Hudson, Steuben County, Indiana, USA 2.) |
