HUDSON - Terry Lee Lockhart, 58, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at the IU Medical Center in Indianapolis.

Mr. Lockhart farmed, was a truck driver and worked at Moore's Business Forms.

He was a member of the National Guard.

Mr. Lockhart was a 1971 graduate of DeKalb High School.

He was a member of Cedar Lake Church Of Christ.

He was born May 18, 1952, in Garrett to Richard and Velma (Kniss) Lockhart. His mother is deceased and his father and stepmother, Richard and Lois Jean Lockhart survive in Ashley.

Also surviving are his children, Stacy Lockhart of Hudson, Emily Grigsby of LaGrange and Alex and Ashley Essig; a brother, Alan and Brenda Lockhart of Ashley; two sisters, Kathy Orwig of Ashley and Linda and Jerry Engstrand of Hopkinton, New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Derrik Gibson, Hayley Prater and Jason Grigsby; and a stepsister, Shelley and Ken Meyer of Kendallville.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Jason James Lockhart

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home in Hudson with Steve Evans officiating.

Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery

He was preceded in death by his mother and a son Jason James Lockhart. He was a farmer, truck driver and worked at Moores Business Forms. He was a member of Cedar Lake Church Of Christ and served in the National Guard. Suvivors: Father & Step Mother: Richard & Lois Jean Lockhart, 2 daughters Stacy Lockhart and Emily Grigsby, 1 brother Alan & Brenda Lockhart, 2 sisters: Kathy Orwig and Linda & Ken Engstrand, a step sister Shelley & Ken Meyer and 3 grandchildren: Derrick Gibson, Hayley Prater and Jason Grigsby. Services at 11 A.M. Friday at Johnson Funeral Honme, Hudson with calling 4-7 on Thursday. Steve Evans will officiate and burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery. ²
