William Crichton, 3rd Lord Crichton was the son of James Crichton, 2nd Lord Crichton and Lady Janet Dunbar.1 He married Marion Livingston, daughter of James Livingston, 1st Lord Livingston and Marian de Berwick.2 He died before 22 November 1493.2
He and Margaret Stewart were associated.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Crichton [S., 1447] in August 1454.2 In 1484 he was forfeit for his part in Albany's rebellion.2 2


William married Margaret Stewart, daughter of King James II Stewart King of Scotland and Mary of Guelders Queen of Scotland. (Margaret Stewart was born about 1455.)


William next married Marion Livingstone, daughter of James Livingstone Chamberlain of Scotland, 1st Lord Callendar and Marien de Berwick.
