GLENN KINSEY OF ST. JOE DIES AT 61
Retired Foreman of Universal Tool in Butler Passes Away in the Garrett Community Hospital

GLENN W. KINSEY, a native of St. Joe, died at 12:18am Wednesday in the Garrett Community Hospital following a heart failure. He was 61.

Mr. Kinsey had been a patient in the hospital for two and a half weeks. He retired in 1958 as a foreman at the Universal Tool and Stamping Company in Butler due to illness.

Mr. Kinsey was born June 27, 1906, son of the late Frank and Elnora Sechler Kinsey. He had lived in the St. Joe area all his life.

The body was taken to the Baidinger & Walter Funeral home at Spencerville, and will be removed to the St. Mark's Lutheran Church at St. Joe at noon Saturday for final rites at 2pm Rev. Russell Snyder, pastor of St. Mark's in St. Joe will officiate. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery at St. Joe. Friends may call after 7:30pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Kinsey was married Aug. 10, 1924, to Mary E. Sheardy in Clare, Michigan. The wife survives. Other survivors include three sons, James Kinsey of Rt. 1 Garrett, Robert Kinsey of St. Joe, and Larry Kinsey, also of St. Joe; a daughter, Mrs. Opal Myers of South Walsh Street, Garrett; a brother, Donald Kinsey and a sister, Mrs. Albert Wade, both of St. Joe, and 11 grandchildren.


Glenn married Mary Sheardy on 10 Aug 1924 in Clare, , Michigan, USA. (Mary Sheardy was born in 1906, died in 1988 and was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Saint Joe, DeKalb County, Indiana, USA.)
