Veit Michael James, 51, died Aug. 4, 2007 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born May 8, 1856 in Kendallville to James Edward and Nelda Mae (Stackhouse) Veit. A 1974 graduate of East Noble High School, he was a certified tire technician at Noble County Tire and had worked 26 years for his father at J&M Tire in Kendallville. Surviving are his mother in Kendallville; 6 sisters and 4 brothers-in-law, Carolyn Veit of Kendallville, Becky Veit of Fort Wayne, Beverly and Greg Lower of LaGrange, Barbara and Dan Denney of Hudson, Sandra and Gary Bolen of Rome City, and Rachel and Todd Hart of Auburn. Services Wednesday at Hite Funeral Home. Burial, Lake View Cemetery. ^ 8-6-2007
