Death(25): She lived at Angola, Indiana for 31 years prior to her death.
She died on December 25th, 1883 from heart disease superinduced by the shock of a telegram announcing the death of her brother, Augustus Spangler Leas at Waterloo, Indiana. After she read the telegram, Elizabeth sank to the floor without saying a word.
