Rosena Meitzler ¹

  General Notes:

Rosena and Charles had six children. When Charles died in Baldwin County, Alabama where they had taken a homestead, Rosena moved her family back to Coshocton County, Ohio. The youngest son was four months old. She purchased a lot in Coshocton and Charles' brothers built her a home at 1419 East Elm Street. Here she raised her children. She never remarried; years later she would still cry and tell me, "I miss your Grandpa so..." ¹

Rosena married Charles William Shumaker. (Charles William Shumaker was born on 20 Jul 1872 in Coshocton County, Ohio, USA, died on 7 Dec 1914 in Pine Grove, Baldwin County, Alabama, USA and was buried in Bay Minette Cemetery, Bay Minette, Baldwin County, Alabama, USA.)
