Ordered by Court that James Yandell, an Orphan of James Yandell, Deceased, be bound to John McCall to learn the trade of a Sadler, to live with his said Master until he is 21 years of age being now 17 years and eight months old. and the said John also engages to pay said apprentice the sum of $20 in money and $21 worth of tools suitable for his trade exclusive of what the Law allows

On 14 Apr 1818, John Donelson of Wilson Co TN conveyed 135 acres of land on the east side of Stones' River and on the waters of Suggs Creek in Wilson Co to James Yandell for $325 (Deed Book I, page 338). On 19 Jan 1824, John Donelson deeded another 30 acres to James Yandle for $120. The land was described as on the east side of Stone's River, lying in Wilson and Rutherford Counties, TN on the branches of the northeast side of Stone's River (Deed Book K, pp 99-100).

Thomas should have been 28 as of the official census date. He married Matilda in 1841.] Next door is James H Yandle, his son.

I think William is living with James. William married in 1828, but then married again in late 1830. It appears his first wife died right after they married, and he moved back in with his parents. But it could be that Thomas is 20 and James is 15. I don't see William on the census in Wilson Co otherwise, so for now I'm assuming the sons with James were as above.
