MRS. LEAS PASSES AWAY
Mrs. Jane Leas who has been a resident of Coshocton county for about 40 years, died at the home of her son, Henry [Finly] Leas of near Tunnel Hill Friday night at 11 o'clock. Death was due to infirmities of old age, she having reached her 84th milestone. For the past two or three years she had been in feeble health but her condition has only been critical about a week.
Mrs. Leas was born in Harrison-co. Her husband died about 15 years ago. She was universally respected and had lived an exemplary Christian life, having been a member of the West Bedford M. E. church for many years. The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock in Tunnel Hill in charge of Rev. Harvey of West Bedford. Interment will be made at Union church.
